Island St Bar and Grill | Barton Solutions Multi Room Audio Portfolio

This commercial project was initiated to create a multi-zone audio system for a brand new bar and restaurant. Because the property had to adhere to strict legislation for the use of sound systems in public places, we first checked that the installation would conform with all current legislation. Our expert technicians then installed a Sonos audio system with Russound recessed ceiling speakers and a Roussound amplifier to minimise the visual impact on the existing décor.

Using smart technology, the client is able to use a Sonos CR200 controller to access music from their PC, Internet radio and Napster, allowing them to control the levels in both zones. Whereas a lower, more ‘background’ system was required in the restaurant area, they were able to increase the volume in the bar according to their requirements. The result was a perfectly balanced and controllable multi-zone audio system that could be controlled by a simple hand-held device from anywhere in the premises.
