This luxury apartment on the sunshine island of Gran Canaria needed a bespoke lighting system installed by its UK owners. They approached Barton Solutions and asked us to install a lighting control system in their holiday home that would enable them to control all the lighting throughout the apartment from one central point. The property had already been wired for conventional light switching, so we had to work within specified boundaries, as well as optimising the system for continental wiring conventions.

During several meetings with the clients, we discussed the options available as well as making sure any alterations would conform to Spanish legislation. The result was the installation in one week of a Rako system, which can be retro-fitted within the existing wiring to create a whole home lighting control system. Barton Solutions supplied, installed and commissioned the project, liasing closely with the customer throughout.
