This beautiful property needed a smart home upgrade but without impacting on the unique character of the building. Barton Solutions installed the electrics, security alarm, Lutron lighting control, Leviton Data networking, TV distribution and Sonos Multi-room Audio system, liasing closely with the owner and interior designer throughout. Our brief was to create a technologically advanced home system without affecting the existing ambience of the property.

By fitting B&W recessed ceiling speakers, which were wired back to a central control position in the living room and linked up to Sonos ZP120 amps and a CR200 control pad, we were able to optimise the sound quality throughout the property whilst still giving the owners complete control via the use of a touch pad. We also incorporated their iPhone technology to be able to control the music in each ‘zone’ direct from their own phone, giving them control on the move as well.
